In the 20th century, five young painters came to Santa Fe from different cities on the east coast. They called themselves five painters dedicated to depicting local landscapes and waters to distinguish themselves from other early Santa Fe art groups. Then, in the landmark of Santa Fe - Sun Mountain Highway, handmade furniture began, creating a unique and simple, rough and generous style.
